¿Verdad o Chisme? (Truth or Gossip?) is a multiple-player tabletop role playing role playing game (TRPG) where four friends dine and weigh the different possibilities of why their late friend arrives late, all in Spanish. After the game set-up, the role play begins where players imagine their friendships with each other and most importantly, create a narrative for the late friend. At the end of the game, the friend group will vote to stay, leave, or exclude the late friend. The learning goal for ¿Verdad o Chisme? is to help advanced Spanish speaking students develop fluency by practicing their public speaking skills in natural dialogue.
