Sec-Rat is a cooperative, simultaneous play, race-against-the-clock roleplaying game designed for 4 players to engage in mechanics that emulate effective group cooking. Play lasts 20 minutes.
Below are the rules for playing a game of Sec-Rat, including the list of tools, stations, and ingredients. If players wish to play Sec-Rat they are encouraged to create all of the pieces out of cardboard or a stiff construction paper.
Below is a sample list of recipes that we designed. We imagine that the game could have expansions that include recipes of various cuisine. Players should also be encouraged to create their own recipes! translating their favorite meals into the game
