This is an adaptation of the Hasbro game – Jenga conceived by Thea LaCrosse and Amy Ortiz. This adaptation was made to focus on education (particularly spelling and vocabulary).

Jenga is a game of physical and mental skill. Built on the simple premise of stacking blocks, Jenga engages players of all ages, across all cultures. The game’s success rests on its solid play value. Players take turns to remove a block from a tower constructed of 54 blocks and balance it on top, creating a taller and increasingly unstable structure as the game progresses.

In our version of Jenga, you are also answering vocabulary questions to strengthen your language arts skills! The game is for 2-6 players in the middle school age range. The game can be played in a classroom in around 20-40 minutes. The goal of the game is to get the most points from answering questions correctly and to not knock the tower over!
